In the AI era, one challenge AI alone can't solve.

CTF has always been about the moment something clicks. As AI begins solving challenges on its own, many players are starting to wonder what is left for them. We want to give them a reason to keep playing.
This round features one Web challenge that a vanilla AI agent could not solve on its own in our tests. AI use is welcome. We believe human insight can still make the difference between getting stuck and finding the flag.
An autonomous solve would be welcome, too. We tested the challenge extensively with a setup based on 5.6-sol ultra, without supplying human insights into the solution. A more advanced model, a carefully engineered harness, or a sophisticated AI agent may succeed where our setup did not. An AI-only solve would be a valuable result in its own right.

This is an individual CTF. Each participant must register with their own AlpacaHack account. Team registration is not allowed.
The organizers may modify, postpone, or cancel the event if a major model or service release materially affects the challenge, or if infrastructure or other unavoidable circumstances make fair operation difficult. Updates will be posted on the official event page and this page.
